The first law of Thermodynamics states that energy can be changed from one form to another, but it cannot be created or destroyed. The total amount of energy and matter in the Universe remains constant, merely changing from one form to another. Bear with me as I think out loud. What if this principal applies to more than energy and encompasses a range of unseen realities. What if this is true about…lets say, LOVE, for example? What if the Universe is graced in precise perfection with an amount of love that is constant? What if? Then the question becomes more about our acceptance, partaking and channeling of it. I think of past generations and the intricate and beautiful interactions between grandmothers and daughters, then with her grandchildren. There are connections and moments in this earthly, time-driven place when we pause at a water well that is centuries old, and we pull up and drink, become refreshed and smile. It’s a pouring into the present, and then we hand the bucket to another soul; gracing and christening a new caregiver. We smile again. It seems the only way experience love is to channel it. I envision a constant flowing, from person to person, never ending, circular in nature, changing and morphing but never being destroyed, maybe never being created. If God is love, then…this makes sense to me. Or maybe I am having one of those crazy moments.
